Vietnam
Vietnam is consistently ranked among the world's top markets for grassroots Bitcoin adoption, driven by a young population, remittances and limited trust in the banking system. Bitcoin is not legal tender, and the state bank prohibits its use as a means of payment. Holding and trading exist in a regulatory grey zone: there is still no comprehensive law recognising bitcoin as property, though the government has moved to build a framework and approved a pilot for licensed exchanges. Enforcement remains inconsistent. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City host some of Southeast Asia's most active Bitcoin meetups. Use this map to find the Vietnamese places where you can spend sats.
