Croatia

Croatia has a long-running Bitcoin scene, home to Electrocoin, one of the region's oldest bitcoin brokers, and a network of crypto ATMs. Bitcoin is legal, but not legal tender, and the euro remains the official currency. Providers are supervised under anti-money-laundering rules and, increasingly, EU-wide MiCA, with HANFA as the financial regulator. Gains on bitcoin are taxed as capital income. Zagreb, Split and Rijeka host meetups and a growing set of bitcoin-accepting businesses. Use this map to find the Croatian places where you can spend sats.
