# BTC Map

> BTC Map is a community-driven, open-source map of merchants, ATMs,
> and other places that accept Bitcoin worldwide. The website, mobile
> apps, public API, and tagging tools are maintained by the teambtcmap
> collective on GitHub. Merchant data comes from OpenStreetMap and is
> curated by volunteer "taggers" and local Bitcoin communities.
